Keep your core tight throughout the move. Open up your feet and jab your arms out as fast as you can. Same thing with the right knee and left hand. This involves high knee running in place, when the left knee is up the right hand is grabbing up in the air, as if it is pulling you up a mountain. The knee should be above the waist every time.Īnother move that should be familiar. As you do that twist so that your hands meet your knee. Alternate bringing your knee up as high as you can. We have done this move a few times in previous workouts, so you should know it by now. Put your hand together in front of you. One foot should be moving up, while the other is moving back.Įxercise #3 – Alternating Speed Knee Slow This is basically a little run in place, where you only touch your toes to the ground in front of you. You are facing towards the side you finished the Out + Out Turns facing. Every 2 jacks like that turn to your side, but never behind you.

Jack the feet twice, while simultaneously bringing the hands in and out, like you are an umpire giving the safe signal, over and over in baseball.

This one gets your heart rate up and you are so focused on what you are doing, that before you know it, it’s done. The Beta and Gamma Speed workouts, are my favorites in T25. At the end of the workout we run through both rounds back to back and even repeat that. But each time we repeat them we do them for less time, but slightly faster. In this workout there are 2 rounds of exercises, which we repeat 3 times. I also swear that Shaun T is the one talking in the background of the music. There are no stretching breaks here and the music is faster, so try and keep up. Even when he talks, it’s with the beat, so really internalize it, so you can match up. Shaun T does everything to the beat here. This is the real deal though, Speed 1.0 was very much a warm-up for this and the later speed workouts. This is the second workout in the Speed series.
